| 空天飞机计划 Aero-Space Plane Project 美国研制利用吸气式发动机或组合式发动机进入地球轨道的航空航天器的计划。这种航空航天器称为空天飞机。它能像飞机那样从机场的跑道上起飞和着陆，具有发射费用低、完全重复使用 、地面操作简单 、周期短、安全可靠等优点，是21世纪航天运输系统的发展方向。美国空天飞机计划的概念最初在1986年提出时，称为东方快车，声称从华盛顿飞往东京只需1～2小时。已正式命名为美国国家空天飞机（NASP)计划 ，这项计划由美国国家航空航天局和国防部联合发展，计划用11年时间，投资50多亿美元，最后研制成两架X-30样机。这是单级入轨的空天飞机的试验机。美国空天飞机计划分3个阶段 ：第一阶段进行可行性研究 ，已于 1985 年完成；第二阶段（1986～1990）攻克关键技术，包括超燃冲压发动机和热防护材料等；第三阶段于1990年开始，拟研制两架X-30试验机进行试飞，并根据试飞情况作出研制实用空天飞机的决定。 |
