Administrative regulation of standard form contract refers to the executive authorities in accordance with the law to regulate the content of the contract,to supervised and inspect the use of standard form contract in order to prevent and eliminate unfair terms.
就我国目前格式合同行政规制的现状来看,存在着主体分散、部门保护、方式方法单一等缺陷,导致大量不公平条款轻易出现在格式合同中,为此,需要组建专门的、中立公正的格式合同审查机构,并综合利用公开听证等多样化的方式,加强对格式合同的审核和监督检查,以切实发挥行政规制的功能作用。

保护条款(safeguard clause),是指进口国有权通过一定程序，限制或停止进口某些“扰乱市场”或是进口国生产者蒙受损害的商品。这实际上进一步扩大了进口国单方限制商品进口的权限。
这种保护条款对出口国极为不利，往往遭到出口国的反对。
