【来源】
为茜草科植物大沙叶的茎叶。
【植物形态】
大沙叶 灌木，高1～4米；小枝有棱和明显的节。叶膜质，对生，椭圆状披针形，长8～15厘米，宽3～6厘米，先端锐渐尖，基部楔形，叶上面散生多数突起的小"痣点"；托叶三角形，脱落或部分脱落。花白色，生于小枝的顶部；花枝的节数不等，但通常2节；伞房花序秃净，3歧，多花；花序柄长约2厘米；萼近钟状，有不明显的小齿；花冠高脚碟状，管狭圆柱形，长1.5厘米，裂片4，矩圆形，旋转排列；雄蕊4，花丝短；子房2室，花柱线状，长突出。核果球形，径约6毫米，干后变黑，有皱纹。花期秋季。 生长于山地、路旁、林缘或疏林下。分布于广西、广东等地。

内服：煎汤，5～8钱；或煎水当茶饮。
