性质: 一种从高温堆燃料中去除石墨基体的方法。高温气冷堆到目前尚未工业应用。在已有的高温气冷堆试验堆中有模块堆和球床堆。燃料二氧化铀小球用2层(Biso)或3层(Triso)包覆后,包容在石墨块或石墨球中。在进行燃料后处理前必须去除石墨基体。粉碎-燃烧法是首先将石墨块或石墨球压碎,使燃料微球脱出,在875℃流化床中,通入氧气燃烧石墨和燃料微球的混合物,除去石墨基体。此法也同时烧去了Biso颗粒上的石墨层。而Triso颗粒剩下碳化硅涂层,待压碎、分级后,用硝酸溶解,溶解液用Thorex流程分离。石墨基体燃烧法的缺点是产生大量带放射性的二氧化碳,排放前要处理除去14C。
