本文论述了江南造山带东段浅变质岩系发现的微古植物化石(计有27属40种)和它的时代意义,分析研究了西村组优势属为 Leiominuscula,Leiofusa,Asperatopsophosphaera,Germinosphaera,Melanocyillum 等5属；昌溪组优势属为 Germinosphaera,Leiominuscula,Leiopsophosphaera,Triangumorpha,Leiofusa 等5属；厘定了西村组、昌溪组地质时代为中元古代蓟县纪,通过对比和论证,提出了伏川蛇绿岩套形成的下限地质年龄在913-963Ma,上限地质年龄在800Ma。

| 蓟县 位于中国天津市最北部，燕山山脉南麓 ，长城脚下 。1990年人口74.21万。有满、回、蒙古、藏、苗、壮、彝、侗、畲、瑶等19 个少数民族。面积1470 平方千米。秦称无终县。隋大业末年为渔阳县。唐开元十八年（730）设蓟州，天宝元年（742）改为渔阳郡，乾元元年（ 758 ）又改称蓟州。1913 年改为蓟县 。矿产有金 、钨、钼、锰、大理石、叠层石、麦饭石、伊里石页岩、重晶石、硅石、煤等。野生植物有银杏、杜仲、核桃楸、黄芪、野大豆、黄檗、珊菜等。野生动物有鼋鱼、鳜鱼、环颈雉、勺鸡、石鸡、飞鼠、貉、狍、獾、中国林蛙、岩松鼠、花鼠、狐、斑翅山鹑等。土特产主要有盘山柿子、天津板栗、果脯、一品烧饼。名胜古迹有盘山、长城、古刹独乐寺、翠屏湖。
