东太平洋海丘
又名“东太平洋海隆”。在太平洋东部。北起北美洲西海岸的阿拉斯加湾,向南大体沿西经110°线平行于南、北美洲海岸延伸,在南纬60°附近同南太平洋海岭相接。世界大洋中脊的一部分,为一条较年青的洋底地壳活动带。长约15,000公里,宽2,000-4,000公里。一般高出洋底2,000-3,000米。沿线被许多纬向断裂带错开。东部同智利海丘及纳斯卡海岭相交。近年也有将阿尔巴特罗斯海台以南称作东太平洋海丘,则长7,600公里。
