| 五指山 位于中国海南省中南部，以主峰状如五指得名。长130千米，平均海拔1000米。穹块断构造，中间屯昌县、琼中黎族苗族自治县、通什市一线为断裂谷。裂谷以东为五指山，以花岗岩为主体；以西为黎田岭、鹦哥岭。两列山脉平行排列，均为东北-西南走向，构成海南岛的最高脊。超过1500米的山峰6座，同名主峰最高，海拔1867米。水系呈放射状，北流的南渡河（长311千米）和东流的万泉河(长180千米)均为海南岛著名的大河。处热带，终年高温多雨 ，年降水量在1600～2000毫米，多雨年可达2900毫米。由于优越的自然条件 ，海拔500米以下的丘陵为热带雨林和季雨林，500～1500米为山地雨林与常绿阔叶林，1500米以上为山地常绿阔叶苔藓林，砍伐后被灌丛、草地替代。经济林以橡胶林为主。 |
