  顾天瑞,苏州城西大村人也。中年,长斋,为念佛会。妻陆氏,亦长斋,日诵佛名甚虔。年六十三,得微疾,预知将终,沐浴易衣,就寝。其姒俞氏,别室居,忽闻陆氏遥语云,吾先去,姆早晚好来也。俞氏亟遣子视之,逝矣。俞氏故长斋,修净业,居半载,无疾而逝。天瑞后数年,别诸亲故,沐浴,唱佛名,亦无疾而逝。事在乾隆三十五年。(二林居后集)
