性质:从米曲霉Asperillus oryzae分离的单链特异性核酸内切酶。一般仅作用于单链DNA或RNA,或双链核酸中的单链区,产生带5′-磷酸的单核苷酸或寡核苷酸。分子量32000,在低pH值环境(pH值4~4.5)作用,需Zn2+参加。在突变体与野生型DNA杂交时,突变区域基不能配对,即使少至1个碱基对,也可用S1核酸酶切割,此切点处即为点突变部位。也用于切除限制性内切酶酶切片段中的黏性末端和打开双链CDNA合成中形成的发夹环。
