两类错误(error of two types)在假设检验时,当假设H。实际上是对的,但由于我们仅根据样本的信息作出判断,仍有可能拒绝H。,这就犯了“弃真”错误,这种错误称之为第一类错误;当H。实际上不真时,我们也有可能接受H。,这是一种“存伪”错误,这种错误称之为第二类错误。在样本容量确定后,犯两类错误的概率不可能同时减少,减少其中一个,另一个往往就会增大。要它们同时减少,只有增加样本的容量。 (任旭明撰金志成审)
