中国人民解放军战斗英雄，海军机电兵。广东省饶平县人。1964年3月参加中国人民解放军海军，8月加入中国共产主义青年团。1965年8月6日，在福建东山岛附近海面迎击国民党海军"剑门"号、"章江"号两舰的战斗中，他所在的611炮艇机舱中弹，3部主机受损，机电兵都负了伤,他的前额骨被弹片击穿,脑组织外露。此时艇首进水下沉，情况危急。为确保战斗胜利，他不顾个人安危，忍受着剧痛，与战友们一起抢修机器。凝结的血浆蒙住双眼,他就摸索着检查管路、阀门和螺钉,修理机件，坚守战位3小时，直至战斗胜利。同年8月16日加入中国共产党。1966年2月4日，中国共产主义青年团中央委员会授予"模范共青团员"称号。2月23日,中华人民共和国国防部授予"战斗英雄"称号。1985年任中国人民解放军海军某部副处长。
