Synthesis of cycloaliphatic amides from aromatic amides hydrogenation on supported Ru catalyst was studied, including quantitative analysis of the TDA hydrogenation products, thermodynamic analysis of the hydrogenation reaction, the choice of catalysts and optimization of operating conditions for aromatic amine hydrogenation.
