性质:一定外界条件(温度、电压、气氛等)下具有电子(或空穴)电导和(或)离子电导的陶瓷材料。有两大类:一类是具有电子电导(包括空穴电导)的氧化物、含氧酸(如铬酸镧陶瓷)或碳化物(如碳化硅陶瓷)。另一类是具有离子电导的陶瓷,又称固体电解质陶瓷(solid electrolyte ceramics)、快离子导体材料(fast ion conducting materials)或快离子陶瓷。是导电陶瓷的主要一类,如氧化锆陶瓷,Na-β-A12O3陶瓷等。其用途因陶瓷制品的材质不同而异。如Na-β-A12O3陶瓷可用作钠-硫电池和钠-溴电池的隔膜材料,用于电子手表、电子照相机等。二氧化锆陶瓷可用作磁流体发电机电极和电热元件等。在空气中工作温度可达2200℃左右。铬酸镧陶瓷引入锶、钙后可抑制其中铬的挥发,所制成的电热元件,在室温下通电,其表面温度可达1900℃。新型导电陶瓷NaZrPO4,NaZr2Si2PO12等在研制中,可望用作大容量电池。
