上海市航空服务学校坐落于浦东新区川沙新镇，毗邻浦东国际机场。学校是在上海市东港职业技术学校和浦东新区工业中专的基础上，通过师资优化、专业调整、课程整合、实训强化后更名而来的。是上海市的重点中专（职校），上海市的行为规范示范校，航空服务专业是市级重点专业。学校是市旅游定点学校，职业技能（计算机、英语）考核站。

学校分为南、北二个校区，共占地42亩，建筑面积22000多平方米。现有72个班级，3200多名学生。学校师资力量雄厚，上岗教师全部达到本科学历。中高级教师85%以上。近几年来,学校教育教学取得了丰硕的成果：高考录取率多年稳定在考生数的90%以上，实习就业推荐率100%、录用率96%以上，学生在市、区级技能操作比赛中频频获奖。

“依托机场、服务机场”是学校的定位。学校除了充分利用好地域层面的依托外，还非常重视专业层面的依托，由“机场”设置课程、派出师资、培训教师并提供上岗实习的机会。现在，学校更是着力文化层面的依托，并将其作为学校可持续发展的核心竞争力。将航空企业文化逐步融入学校文化中。营造学校良好的校风、教风和学风，为“服务机场”积蓄了扎实的人文底蕴。

目前，学校与东航合作开设了五个三种岗位的定向班，对学生进行订单式培养。同时，学校还向国内三大航空公司、浦东和虹桥国际机场、上航等航空企业输送学生。学校 “以就业为导向”的办学道路将越走越宽。
