青年性意识的发展(sex一c。;、scl。usnessdevelopmen，in youth)，卜}意识指对性的理解、体验和态度。美国青年心理学家E，赫罗克把青年性意识的发展划分为四个阶段:性的反感期，向往年长异性的“牛犊恋”期，追求异性的狂热期和浪漫的恋爱期。我国学者认为青年性意识发展大约经历下述四个阶段:(l)抵触，青春期的到来，男女生理上的急剧变化，性格发展上的差异，导致了害羞和不安。男女间关系开始疏远，心理和行为上出现隔膜，对异性常表现出反感、厌恶。(2)好感。随生理上的进一步发展，知识经验的增加，自我意识的发展，男女双方开始各自喜欢对方的行为、举止，并产生了模糊的向往。(3)依恋。此时男女表现出愿与异性在一起，看重自己的打扮。(4)爱情。随着性的成熟和社会生活的全面影响，青年男交间开始产生爱情。第一阶段是性意识觉醒期，第二、兰阶段是性意识发展的过渡期，第四阶段是性意识相对成熟期。‘般而言，女青年性意识比男青年成熟早。 (白学军撰林索德审)
