儿童性别差异心理学(psyehology ofsexd宜fferenee on ehildren)研究不同性别儿童的心理差异，是发展心理学的分支之一。主要任务是研究儿童两性间在心理过程、个性发展差别的各种表现和程度以及差别的性质和原因。通过优生优育和性别教育，更好地控制和改变遗传、环境因素对不同性别儿童心理发展的影响，特别是对男女儿童心理发展的作用，从而使男女儿童自身、家长、社会能够按他们各自发展的优势去安排学习、生活和工作，做到人尽其才。研究表明，男孩在大肌肉动作技能和力量方面占优势，而女孩则在精细动作上占优势;男性在言语叙述和操作方面占优势，而女孩则在言语流畅性、读写方面占优势;男孩偏于逻辑思维，女孩偏于形象思维:男孩在社会活动上对物体和事情更感兴趣，而女孩似乎对人更感兴趣。若不顾男女两性心理差异的客观事实，社会就会对男女身心发展造成损害，浪费人才一。 (白学军撰王艾利审)
