一种实用的游泳。反蛙泳即蛙式仰泳，身体仰卧在水里，面部露出水面，下颏稍稍贴近胸部，腿部动作与蛙泳近似，主要是小腿收、蹬。两臂动作是同时经体侧向大腿方向用力划水，然后同时提出水面，从空中摆至头后入水，继续做第2个循环动作。划水时两臂弯屈,手和小臂要对准划水方向，划水结束后，稍有滑行。在呼吸、腿、臂的动作配合上，臂和腿的动作可以交替进行（也可以同时进行），即两臂划水时躯干和腿自然地伸直成流线型，臂出水和经空中向头后摆时收腿，当臂摆到后半部时，开始蹬腿，吸气是在两臂划水结束时开始，在划水的中间呼气。反蛙泳常在运物和救护溺者时采用。
