This paper differentiates and analyses the discrimination standards of the current events novels during late Ming to early Qing Dynasty, and examines and corrects the author, the time when the books were written, the time when the events came to be end and the time equation between them.

Although the novels violated the reality principle, they still belonged to the current events novels proceeding from the evidence.
