Using the technique of combination, Crumb displays, in his suite Ancient Voices of Children, the characteristic oftimbre contrast, fodder juxtaposition and style amalgamation through varied combinations of human and instrumental voices,unconventional vocalization and stylistic integration.

Beginning with the historical documents,relics and historical remains having been discovered,this paper provides a discussion and analysis of the early usage of coal in ancient times,recounts briefly the process of discovering coal by ancient Chinese and at last points out that the usage of coal in ancient times was only confined in making commodities and artistic works.
