补充资料：正定隆兴寺铜菩萨像
中国北宋铜铸佛教造像。在河北正定隆兴寺大悲阁内。寺又名大佛寺，即得之于寺内的大悲观音像。北宋开宝四年 (971)七月，宋太祖驻跸正定时，因城西大悲寺及铜像先毁于契丹，继又毁于后周显德年间，遂命在寺内铸造大悲菩萨铜像，寺院建筑也因之扩建。大悲菩萨铜像矗立于大悲阁内，通高22米余，下有 2.2米高的石须弥座，仅次于西藏扎什伦布寺的强巴佛像，是国内现存铜造像中最高者之一。大悲菩萨又称千手千眼观音，造像形式为像体周匝与胸前共有42臂。据寺内一通详细记载铸像过程的宋碑，可知宋代铸造时 42 臂均是铜铸，雕木为手，而现在仅当胸合掌的两臂为铜质，像体两侧的40手臂已在清代换为木制。造像体型纤细颀长，比例匀称，衣纹流畅，腰部以下尤为出色，富有宋代艺术风格。须弥座的上枋、壸门内和隔间间柱上有伎乐、飞天、盘龙等精美雕刻。
