The thread of the derivations provides some typological evidence that for directional verbs,at least for Shang(上)and Xia(下),Chinese develops from a verb-framed language to a satellite-framed language.

In this paper, we realize the representation, reasoning and implementation of knowledge based discrete event simulation models by means of object oriented frame language.

Is contemporary Chinese a verb-framed language or a satellite-framed language or neither of them? There is no denying that it is of great significance to understand which type of language contemporary Chinese belongs to, for different language types reflect people\'s different ways of conceptualization and different patterns of lexicalization.
