放任型家庭(laisser一faire family)父母一与子女相互之间在认识、情感和行为协调上都比较缺乏的一种家庭。这种家庭父母对子女的态度往往是消极的，无所谓的，对他们的要求视而不见、听而不闻，放任自流、听其自然成长。父母与儿童的关系是抚养和被抚养、照顾与被照顾的关系，彼此之间真心的交流很少，儿童对于家长如何对待自己也抱无所谓的态度，对家长的榜样也不感兴趣。此类家庭中的儿童可能朝两个方向发展:一是儿童为博得父母的重视和好感，常常撤娇、与成人纠缠、砸东西甚至自残身体，造成情绪不安、攻击性强、冷酷等:二是可能使儿童独立性强、少依赖等。 (白学军蒋兆灿撰车文博审)
