塞尔维亚作家、启蒙教育家。原名迪米特里,生于手艺人家庭。早年当过修道士,曾周游欧洲,并进德国哈勒大学深造。旅居国外近30年,获得渊博知识。1804年曾支援反抗土耳其统治的人民起义。塞尔维亚独立后回国,出任教育大臣。他的主要作品有自传体小说《迪米特里·奥布拉多维奇的生平奇遇》(1783)、文集《醒世良言》(1784)和译著《寓言集》(1788)等。这些作品抨击宗教黑暗势力,提倡发展教育和文化,主张个性解放,为启蒙运动的发展和摆脱中世纪影响,作出了重要贡献。此外,他还写了《拯救塞尔维亚之歌》(1789)、《塞尔维亚人民起义歌》(1804)、《1808年新年献词》等诗,赞颂民族解放运动,号召人民为祖国的独立和自由而斗争。
