"翠谷流云'位于内蒙古 呼伦贝尔市莫尔道嘎国家森林公园1 8公里处,是占地1 9 0 0公顷,被誉为"兴安绝景"的东北亚寒温带障子松原始林。

樟子松又名海拉尔松,美人松,属大兴安岭常绿针叶乔木,成树均高 25米樟于松强阳性。耐寒,耐旱,耐瘠薄,一般在大兴安岭北部阳坡可形成小片松林,象诺大面积的樟子松纯林在大兴安岭实属罕见。

翠谷流云景点所处环境海拔1100米,三面山高相连,一面深谷绵延。乘车沿盘山公路而上,进入原始林,山高林密,粗大的樟子松枝叶交错,树龄均在200年以上,林中偶见几棵因雷击而立枯的树干,为此人迹罕至的原始林增添几分粗犷,幽野。下车顺林间小路攀登,回眸脚下深谷,大岭重重,浓荫如染,大自然所展现的雄浑气势慑人心魄。爬到山顶,山风清爽,举目林上,白云擦树梢奔涌,山雾迷漫在树林间,好一幅翠谷流云图。 刻有"原始林"的岩石和鹿,熊雕塑小品,为游人平添几分野趣;挂在林 中的各式鸟巢,引得山雀探首巢上,婉啭啼鸣;公路边"迎客松", "鹿角松"、 "姊妹松"讲诉着许多动人传说。

待到冬季,大雪铺地,银光闪烁。白雪,绿树,蓝天相映,苍茫的樟子松原始林尽显高洁,优雅。
