Based on EOS/MODIS multi-channel remote sensing data,the characteristics of a strong convective cloud were analysed qualitatively according to a heavy rainfall in the northern of Anhui province from 30, June to 1,July in 2006.

The mainly features of mesoscale convective cloud clusters during four heavy rainfall stages in Changjiang River Basin have been studied by using GMS TBB data of every hour on every day from June to August in 1998.
运用1998年6~8月逐日逐时GMS辐射亮度温度TBB资料,统计和分析了长江 流域4个大暴雨时段中各自中尺度对流云团活动的一些主要特征,指出长江流域的这场罕见 大水是在特定的环流形势下,由315个β中尺度和α中尺度对流云团直接造成的。

This paper analyses the northward movement and activity of convective cloud clusters over the Bay of Bengal through May to June.
结果表明:初夏孟湾对流云团活动对低纬高原的初夏降水有明显影响;孟湾北部及其东部海域和沿岸是对流云团北上频数最多的地区;下风方伴随风速大值区的西南气流有利于孟湾云团北上;孟湾云团北上与西太平洋副热带高压的活动和位置关系密切。
