| 德加（1834～1917） Degas，Edgas 法国画家。印象主义展览的参加者。1834年7月19日生于巴黎，1917年 9月26日卒于同地。曾在罗马和那不勒斯研究意大利文艺复兴美术。早期创作多选择历史题材和肖像，风格是古典的。1865年以后转向现代题材，尤以极大的兴趣描绘歌剧院和芭蕾舞排练场。他善于表现瞬间的动作，在造型上重视素描，认为素描具有丰富的表现性。他还擅长用粉画和油画棒作画，取得了油画所达不到的效果。此外，他还喜欢默写，凭记忆作画，作品真实地记录了生活中的片断，有着浓厚的生活气息。代表作《少女头像》、《巴黎歌剧院的乐队》、《蓝色的舞女》等，均着力用学院派的技法来表现现代感情。另一类作品如《熨衣妇》，则表明他不但善于捕捉生活中的自然美，也揭示了他对劳动人民的深切同情。重要作品还有《浴后》、《中世纪战争的场面》等。德加还长于雕塑，多表现运动中的人物。
