This dissertation presents an outline of the transformation from symbolic 'meaning transfer' to social-functional 'meaning attachment', the structural transformation in the production and communication of the TV advertising meaning system.

In the process of meaning attachment, TV advertising becomes the important vehicle of audiences\' self-identitification and,on another hand,it builds some social public values to protect the benefit of the public.

This essay summarizes four inseparable reasons why the sequels of the novels in Ming and Qing Dynasties came into being: the past-attaching consciousness of the Chinese ancient scholars; the perilous political circumstances in those two times; aesthetic mentality of the good reunion and the tradition of culture of Chinese; and the demand of safeguarding the feudal rule.

This paper puts forward that realization of western development should prevent“ following old steps” imitation idea,“ limited thought” basin idea,“ relying on others” dependent idea,“ sticking to old antiquated regulations” outmoded idea and“ satisfied with present achievement” old idea.
