In this paper,first I have introduced the history and the importance of the peer tutoring in western higher education and then I illustrate the urgent need of peer tutoring in Chinese higher education.

This paper attempts to address the thorny issue of revision in argumentative writing within a Chinese EFL context,using insights from both the process approach and the genre theory,with emphasis on peer evaluation.

This article proposes that it may use inter-scholastic training and peer coaching which is proper to the community and the teacher individual,and reflective teaching and e-teaching portfolio to achieve the goal of teacher career development.
