性质:指催化反应进行的步骤首先是反应物与催化剂反应,生成具有正常化合物性质的不稳定中间化合物或中间络合物,然后该中间化合物转化为产物,同时使催化剂再生。因为这些步骤都是有较低的活化能,因而使反应变得容易。该理论的本质是强调反应物和催化剂间的化学相互作用,指出均相催化的反应速率与催化剂浓度的某次方成正比,能比较满意地解释均相催化反应的现象。
