This paper aims to discuss the scholar-bureaucratic feature of Feng Yansi s poetry from the perspective of elegancy and self-emotional expression in two chapters.

The narrative lyric,is an important poetics character of The Usual Doctrine Verse.

The highly creative adoption of images in the poetry of "poets group of Southwestern United University" not only characterized the poetry as Modernist,but also resulted in objective lyricism.

They exerted great efforts in surpassing the dull and pompous pattern of emotion expression and exploited new patterns featured by the objectivity, rationalization and dramatization in emotion conveyance which enriched the expressive patterns and greatly contributed to the rationalization of modern poetry.
