There are 5 places at Gaoweizi site, which deposits mainly with layers belonged to Ming and Qin dynasty, and deposits 1 tomb belonged to the Six dynasties, 1 tomb belonged to Tang dynasty, and 2 house bases belonged to the late Qing dynasty as well.

From September to November,2004,Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavates Xigaoping site at Anyang,and discoveries some remains of Tang and Song dynasties.

In cooperating with the construction of highway from Anyang to Linzhou,Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conductecd an excavation at the Xigaoping site in Anyang from September to November of 2004.

From April to December of 2005,Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated the Pinggaotai site in Fangcheng county,and revealed 3000 m2 in area.

In May,2003,Xinxiang Municipal Archaeology Team excavates Hougaozhuang site at Xinx- iang county,and discovers some relics of early Longshan and Pre-Shang cultures,in which,there are nine ash pits of early Longshan culture and one ash pits of Pre-Shang culture,some pottery pots are unearthed, which provide new materials for studying the ancient culture in the Central Plains.

In May of 2003, Xinxiang Municipal Archaeological Team excavated Hougaozhuang site in Xinxiang county, Henan province and found remains of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty extending from the early Spring and Autumn to Warring States period.

In order to understand the ancient culture of the Huai river valley and its relationship with the adjacent areas, archaeologists from Henan Provincial Institute of cultural Relics and Archaeology and the local institutions excavated the Leitaizi site, eight kilometers to the northwest of the Luoshan county, Henan province.
