本文在对全国8省265名中学英语教师问卷调查和30名教师访谈的基础上,提出新课程改革背景下的中学英语教师教育应该坚持目标明确性、内容科学性、方式多元性、成效可持续性的原则;并尝试解析了目前中学英语教师教育所存在的问题;同时从高校与中学英语教师教育的契合入手,针对问题提出建设性观点;期望有助于进一步加强高校与中学的交流合作,推进中学英语教师教育的发展。
