角色承担(role一taking)亦称“角色采择”，认知学派有关道德发展研究的术语。指儿童对社会角色的理解、采纳和承担是介于逻辑思维和道德思维之间的一种社会认知形式，是道德判断力发展的必要条件。道德判断解决人们彼此间应当怎样想和怎样做的问题，角色承担则解决人们彼此间实际上怎样想和怎样做的问题。美国心理学家R.L.塞尔曼把儿童角色承担的发展划分为五个阶段:(l)自我中心观点的角色承担，约3一6岁。(2)社会知识的角色承担，约6一8岁(3)自我反省的角色承担，约8~10岁。(4)相互的角色承担，约10一12岁。(5)社会习俗的角色承担，约12一15岁 (郭金山撰车文博审)
