锡特拉尔特佩特火山 墨西哥第一高峰，北美洲第三高峰。又称奥里萨巴火山。位于墨西哥高原东南横断火山带东部。海拔5700米。是一休眠火山，山体呈圆锥形，顶部有3个火山口。1545、1566和1687年都曾剧烈喷发，至1878年几乎完全熄灭。1941年又有微弱活动。1848年有人首次登上该峰。山区气候温暖，降水适中，植被垂直分异明显。山麓低坡地带种植香蕉、咖啡。森林上限为海拔3000米。海拔4420米以上地区终年积雪。山区火山喷发物较厚，土壤肥沃。 |
