苯日神山
位于林芝县驻地普拢的东南方，雅鲁藏布江北侧。这是一座西藏原始苯教推崇的神山，据传当年佛苯相争时最先出来反对佛教的苯教徒阿穷杰博曾与莲花生大师比试法力。莲花生大师到达雅江与尼洋河交汇处时，凭借法力调集狂风试图将村庄和树木全部吹倒。阿穷杰博则以巨石压住树本才使得灾难得以幸免。直到现在这一带的树梢还是歪的，正是当年斗法所致。接着两人又在苯日神山山脚的古鲁（意为莲花生）村斗法，莲花生想彻底摧毁苯教，于是试图将苯日神山推入尼洋河，在阿穷杰博的阻拦下均告失败。从此，工布地区的苯教得以保存。
至今，信奉苯教的当地百姓在这座神山上依然存有大石崇拜、神鸟崇拜和天梯（耸立在神山上的一棵巨树，因常有雾气镣绕，看似高耸入云，是苯教传说中宇宙通天树，早夭的孩童被装入箱内葬于该树的分权之间，认为这样可使灵魂升天），这棵被视为天梯的树上挂着各色经幡和祭品。
每年“萨嘎达瓦节”苯教信众都要逆时针围绕神山转经，阿穷杰博被视为保护神山的英雄。
