The process approach to the teaching of writing in ESL appears to be more effective than earlier product-focused approach because it allows the learner to explore and develop a personal approach to writing.
对作为第二语言的英语的写作教学来说,新近出现的"以过程为中心"的方法较诸以往"以产品为中心"的方法似乎更为有效,因为"过程法"允许学习者自主探索并培育自己的写作方法。

This paper conducts an analysis of the current state of college English writing,puts forwards some principles for the teaching of writing and then explores some teaching methods such as creation in prewriting,mutual revising,global grading and design of the writing task,etc.
文章对大学英语写作现状进行了分析,提出了大学英语写作教学应遵循的原则,并从写前创思、互动修改和整体评价、写作任务设计等方面对英语写作教学进行了探讨。

Nowadays there exist some problems in the teaching of writing, such as students being unable to write good handwriting or coherent sentences, writing for examinations and teachers random use of teaching methods.
