谓毗卢遮那如来，现法界无尽身云，遍一切处，与十方佛，互为主伴，称性圆融，而说此经，令诸菩萨一切大众，及未来世法界众生，皆悉得闻，信解悟入，生如来家；乃至深入毗卢性海，若人闻是经得无量无边利益，今束为十，故云闻经十益也。（梵语毗卢遮那，华言遍一切处。）
［一、见闻益］，见闻益者，谓见闻如来，常说遍说，此之大经，佛佛道同，法应如是，令诸众生入佛境界，成见闻益。（常说者，过去、现在、穷未来际，恒说此法也；遍说者，十方无尽世界，皆说此法也。）
［二、发心益］，谓闻如来说本因中大愿大行，誓度众生，是以遂发信心，学佛行愿，成发心益。
［三、造修益］，谓闻如来说此大经，发起当机智慧善业，令诸众生如法进修，成造修益。
［四、顿得益］，谓闻如来初成正觉，即说此经，为根本法轮，义理玄妙，具含众德，令诸众生即能开悟，成顿得益。
［五、灭障益］，谓闻如来说此大经，广明依正二果，胜德庄严，是以信乐修行，灭烦恼障，成灭障益。（依正二果者，一依果，谓华藏庄严世界；二正果，谓如来十身也。）
［六、摄位益］，谓闻此经显说圆融地位，即一位之中，具摄诸位功德，期心证入，成摄位益。
［七、起行益］，谓闻此经广说圆融妙行，即一行顿成诸行，是以起深信解，发意修行，成起行益。
［八、称性益］，谓闻说此经称性极谈真实之法，决须解了，依性起修，成称性益。
［九、转利益］，谓闻此经说一切众生皆具如来智慧，乃展转与人演说，皆得饶益，成转利益。
［十、速证益］，谓总具前诸法门，故广修众德，则能速出生死，顿证菩提，成速证益。（梵语菩提，华言道。）
