台北故宫位于台湾省台北市外双溪，始建于1925年，是一座由红基、黄墙、绿瓦组成的宫殿式博物馆，宏伟壮丽，极富外国宫殿色彩。整个建筑共分四层，分别展出书画、铜器、瓷器、玉器、雕刻、图书、碑帖、织绣等文物珍品
故宫藏物共达24万件之多，每次展出1700多件，展品三个月换一次，每次展出的历代玉器、陶瓷，琳琅满目，美不胜收。其中以稀世珍宝毛公鼎最为人所称道，其它如翠玉白菜、如意双丹、法器、魔杖等，也都无比珍贵。
