By using the methods of literature, investigations and interviews, the authors of this study have made an analysis of the present situation of ice sport events of our country and the basic conditions for some southern cities to develop ice sport.

Based on long-term skating teaching practice,the article makes a sum-up on some optimized methods related to the enjoyment teaching,the game teaching and the psychology teaching for improving the skating teaching effect.
