From the point of view of semeiology and mass-communication, this paper analyzed the symbolization characteristics of public communication of fashion culture as well as the causation and course.

Based on the analysis of the emergence and development of Chinese fashion culture,the author expounds that with the development of modern industry and commerce and the acceptance of modern western way of life,the modern fashion culture is promoted in diversity during the early period of China\' s reform and opening.

It can be said that Chinese dressing culture is unified with the concept of conformity and great harmony so that more emphasis goes to group consciousness rather than the individual effect.

Due to the penetration of outside culture and the extensive use of modern textile,the dressing culture of the Hong Yao group is confronted with variation and assimilation.
