性质：主要有三种形式。（a）夹层（带式）黏度计，在两平行板中间夹一条带，试验流体放在带与板中间，牵引带通过流体，在给定带与板的间隙及牵引带负荷的条件下，带的牵扯引速度与流体黏度有关。（b）试验流体夹在两平板之间，一块板固定，牵引另一块板，在给定牵引力条件下测定滑动速度。为防止测定时流体从缝隙漏出，应当使缝隙足够窄，或受试流体黏度足够大。即此型黏度计只适用于比较稠的流体。（c）板盘装置，适用面广，不只限于高黏度流体。
