双林寺彩塑 双林寺在山西平遥县城西南，原名中都寺。现存有十座大小殿堂，保存有彩塑二千多尊。时代自宋至清，历代都有。其中大多是属明代初期或明之重装作品。有圆雕、浮雕、壁塑和各种装饰性雕塑，千态万状，十分丰富。千佛殿和菩萨殿的悬塑，数以千计，风格独特，形象生动，富有浓郁的民族特色，为全寺彩塑的精华。天王殿内的四大天王像，每座高两米以上，雄伟庄丽，生动传神。罗汉殿内的十八罗汉与观音塑像，性格鲜明，塑制精美。
