性质:棕黑色粉末。溶于丙酮,不溶于甲苯,醇溶液为樱桃红色。水溶液热时为紫黑色,加盐酸后初为红棕色,而后沉淀呈棕黑色;加氢氧化钠为深蓝色,而后为樱桃红。硫酸溶液为深蓝色,用水稀释析出紫黑色沉淀。

制备方法:由1-氨基-2-萘酚-4-磺酸经重氮化后,再与1-萘酚偶合而得。

用途:做络合滴定指示剂。使用时配成醇溶液或水溶液,用于测定钙、镁、锰、锌等金属离子,测定水硬度。
