The borrowing and coinage of Tibetan vocabulary enjoyed a long history mainly in the form of transliteration,free translation,onomatopoeia and calque etc.

This paper combines the knowledge of the linguistics, anthropology, sociology into Tibetan documentation resources on Tibetan language and the knowledge of the loan words which come from my field work on the modern Tibetan vocabulary and new words in the Tibetan areas of Gansu, Qinghai and TAR during my study, try to explore a few problems in the vocabulary development of the Tibetan linguistics.
