后教育(afte;edueation)弗洛伊德使用的一个术语，指精神分析者帮助病人将其对分析者的孩子式的基本态度转变成较成熟的态度。在精神分析心理治疗中，病人对分析治疗者的态度在治疗中起决定性作用。在治疗的开始阶段，病人常常将分析治疗者看作是与其父母具有类似品质和特点的人，将分析者置于其父亲或母亲的位置上，或迟或早总会对治疗者产生强烈的情绪反应。弗洛伊德认为，这种移情作用代表病人在幼年时代对他周围的重要人物所怀有的情感;它是必要的，有助于帮助病人更好地了解自己与他人的有关行为，从而给病人以力量，以便超我对自我实施有效的控制。然后随着分析治疗的深入，治疗者应当使病人认识和改变他对治疗者的态度，矫正他将自己的疾病归咎于父母教育不当的思想。后教育能使病人改变对他人的不正确看法，并获得较现实、较成熟的自我观。 (梁宝勇撰徐俊见审)
