The international competition ability of Chinese national industry has made great improvement, but its overall level has a certain gap while being compared with developed countries, and has a clear structural difference.

After providing the formula for dynamic stiffness calculation via inverse sub-structuring approach on the coupling unit-of-packaging of a "product-packaging/coupling-carrier" system,key formulae for calculating dynamic characteristics of the system with shock buffering and vibration control was verified by a lumped mass model.

Applying inverse sub-structuring approach to a coupling unit-of-packaging in a "product-packaging/coupling-carrier" system,two new schemes to determine the coupling dynamic characteristics have been proposed,including direct and indirect inverse sub-structuring methods.

The inverse sub-structuring approach generally used for complex systems with coupling structures was introduced to packaging transportation engineering which provide a new method of dynamic analysis for design and evaluation of shock buffering and vibration control system.
