According to the tested proofreadings in TEM 8,this thesis concerns the validation of proofreadings by qualitative research,the author thinks that the content validity in proofreadings is inadequate,finally,suggestions are given: when developing tests,contextual level should be emphasized as well as the understanding and identification of meaning,and the appropriateness of texts.
