尼泊尔历史最久、发行量最大的官方尼泊尔文对开日报。在加德满都出版。1901年5月6日创刊，由当时首相府的新闻出版办公室主办。初为周刊，1945年10月改为半周刊，1961年 2月改为日报。1963年改由尼泊尔通讯部所属的廓尔喀公司主办。尼泊尔各级政府部门、评议会及群众团体都必须按规定订阅。每天出 8版，日发行量 3.5万份(1986)。
