滁州琅玡山(今淮东道)广照禅师。名慧觉。西洛人也。弱冠扶父衡阳太守柩归洛。过澧州药山古寺。宛若宿契。缘此出家。既得度游方参学。得法汾阳。应缘滁水。与明州雪窦显禅师(云门宗派)同时唱道。四方谓之二甘露门。逮今淮南遗化如在。师嗣汾阳昭禅师(续灯录)
