补充资料：新疆民丰出土的汉棉织品
新疆民丰出土的汉棉织品 一九五九年新疆民丰县北大沙漠中发掘出来的东汉合葬墓里，出土了大批织物，其中有些是棉织品。如覆盖在盛着羊骨、铁刀的木碗上的，大约是当作“餐布”使用的两块蓝白印花布，就是棉织品。根据观察，男尸穿著的白布裤和女尸的手帕，也都是用棉纤维织造的。这说明一千七百多年以前，我国新疆地区已经使用棉布。
